 Is it a good idea?
Hello all! Im going to be taking the A+ exam in the coming months and was wondering what your thoughts were on just using the videos and practice exams for studying? I know most seem to use videos + a book but im wondering if i can get by without the book.
If you feel a book is a must, any suggestions? I have read that Mike Meyers is a good author for this subject.

Re: Is it a good idea?
Hi,
If you actually know the material that's going to be tested and the videos are just to refresh yourself then, I expect that would be fine. But if the videos are teaching you new things, then I would suggest getting a book. The Mike Meyers one is a good choice. I'd also download the syllabus from Comptia to ensure that you're learning at least everything on there.
Good luck, Tim
