Post Question Regarding CPU Questions on A+ Exam
I'm just finishing up the "Microprocessors" section of the All In One A+ book by Mike Meyers, and there are a lot of different processors with different L3 caches, technologies, sockets and things. I was just wondering exactly what sort of facts on processors needs to be memorized for the A+ Exam? I just want to know what to focus on. Plus, the Mike Meyers book delves into a lot of history behind the different processors, so for memorization, I'm going to need to make myself some sort of concise, to-the-point chart with all the different CPU's. Just wondering on what aspects of the different CPU's need to be memorized? I know cache is a biggie, but there's so many variations. I'd love some insight on what I should focus on as far as what questions regarding CPU's will be on the exam.

I would suggest getting ExamCram by David Prowse or A+ Passport by Mike Meyers as they are narrowed down versions of the large books that help direct you towards what you should really concentrate on. Go to Amazon for them as they are a good price on there and as long as you spend $25 you get free shipping.
