Post Hi guys, Future CompTia A+ Certified ^_^
Hello guys I'm future candidate to take the CompTia A+ Certifications, searching in the internet I found this videos and i'm quite surprise how easy to understand are. My question is what book do you recommend (which author and which edition?) to study and what study plan do you have? (study first book then the videos or vice-versa. I'm right now pumped up, hope to see your answer soon.

A book and vids is all you need. You could complement it by watching the CBT nuggets A+ vids. James Conrad is excellent and very funny to listen to.
The Professor's series is also excellent although to be honest does not go into as much detail as the CBT series.

Book wise, I'd recommend anything by Mike Meyers. I got by using Meyers A+Passport book.It came with some free exams questions on CD/DVD. Once you have studied ensure you practice exam questions as much as possible.

I had to use all three sources, CBT, Professor and Meyers because when I studied for the A+ last year, it was the first exam i'd studied towards in about 15 years so I found my brain was a bit slow to absorb the info to start with. If you've recently left college/university or are just a natural fast learner then you may be able to get by with just reading a book. Some people have.
