I love your work! I watched all of your A+ videos and I have to say they helped me put it all together as far as what to study! I did pass both 601 & 602 a couple weeks ago. Thank you.

I do have a question on the Network + video for subnetting part 1.

In one section you are talking about the subnet 255.255.0.0 and you said you had 65,533 host addresses available.....

If I do 2 to the 16th power, it equals 65,536 and then minus 2 - one for the broadcast and one for the network, I get 65,534 available host addresses.

See my confusion??

You're correct, and the slide and audio was supposed to have been corrected in the final video edit before going online. I'll go back to my edited files and post the corrected version of the video.
