I took an A+ class recently and we used Mike Meyers' "A+ All in One" book. It was a fairly big book. It took me a lot of personal time to get through it all and really cramming, learning, and absorbing while doing so... Took a good couple of months.

I'm going to be taking a Net+ course in the fall. The course hours and days are shorter than my A+ class... I'm hoping the book(s) will be too. Does anyone know if there's a 'standard' or very common book used in Net+ courses?

On a side note: A+ was very new to me. I learned a LOT from the ground up and that has a lot to do with why it took so long (on top of a lot of content to begin with). I think I got a pretty decent foundation from it though... Even got some Networking groundwork, so I'm hoping the Net+ studying won't take me as long.

This site has helped me SO much in my studying. Mr. Messer does an incredible job. From the Net+ videos I've watched and the studying I'v been doing with it, I'm going into this course confident and on a good foundation. Thanks for the great site, Mr. Messer!

My network + all in one is about half the size of my A+ all in one.



I have yet to take the Net+ so I can't say much else.
