Post PASSED NET+
Glad to add another important cert under my belt. Thank God and Prof Messer. I mainly used experience, professor messer's videos and some class work. I couldn't go through all of Mike Meyers' book on Network+. Professor Messers video is all you need plus some practice tests.

Post Re: PASSED NET+
@fizzydizzy: which network certification did you find harder: Network+ or CCNA?

I received the CCENT cert last year, and have a goal to take the CCNA (ICND2 exam) by the end of April. Having passed ICND1, I thought that a Network+ wouldn't be enough of a challenge. So I began studying for the A+ cert, which I earned in January. Now I'm second-guessing if it was a good decision to forgo the Network+ cert. It took two tries to pass the ICND1 exam! I've learned my lesson to know Cisco material v.e.r.y v.e.r.y w.e.l.l. Maybe it would have been better to start with the CompTIA material instead. Just wondering....

In addition to studying for the Cisco cert, I'm "putting my foot into the water" by covering MCTS 70-680 material and online lab. If I'm able to get a CCNA notch on my belt, I intend to focus on the MCTS (which, judging from the comments I've read, is a very challenging exam).

Post Re: PASSED NET+
I found the Net+ to be the easiest CompTIA cert out of the main three. This may have been due to getting Ed Liberman's Train signal series which is excellent.

The Cisco exams are a lot harder in comparison to the Net+ but doing the Net+ first helped me a lot in understanding a lot of the basics covered in ICND1.
