Post CHKDSK runs randomly during boot of my OS (Event ID: 1001)
Chkdsk runs occasionally everytime my OS boots. I didn't schedule it that way though. After the run it will always found no errors don't really now why the procedure keeps repeating even though in the end it will found no errors. I've read a lot of forums about this issue. Also tried to isolate the problem by doing all the chkdsk command but this doesn't solve the problem. I want to know why the procedure keeps repeating with my hard disk having no errors or any issues, it is properly configured and formatted. Also from the forums it says Avira antvr is causing the problems. I happen to also have Avira and also checked the forums regarding this issue. The hot fix from Avira didn't solve the issue and they said it a bug from Microsoft and they are still (not sure if Microsoft has already found a solution, since the forum was from last year) working for a fix along with Microsoft. Most of the of the people in the forums stated this error as event id: 55 and/or 5508. As for mine the event id is 1001 and the source is Wininit. This is the event detail:

Is it occasionally, or every time??? There is a big difference between the two. If it's occasionally I would do a SMART test on the Drive, it may have a bad sector. If its every time, then there are numerous issue that could cause this. One to look at is a process that isn't properly shutting down when you shutdown the OS.

Hope this helps
