Help With Computer Problem! Problems with getting into BIOS
I'm hoping someone here can help. I am trying to fix a few year old laptop of mine that is all messed up with my newfound A+ knowledge, but I have run into a problem not covered! I need to get into the BIOS to change the boot settings to boot from a USB drive so I can install Windows 7 from it. However, the laptop LCD is broken and does not work, so I need to connect the computer to a monitor.
So I don't really get to see the computer boot up on screen. I tried DEL, F1, F2, etc. to get into the BIOS. I think DEL works, but I can't switch to my monitor...
Can you not use an external monitor to view the BIOS? If you can't I guess I'm just totally screwed? Sounds stupid to me, there must be some way around it. Please help, thanks!!

It's an Everex make, I believe the model is Stepnote 2053T.

Re: Help With Computer Problem! Problems with getting into BIOS
Sorry about not replying back sooner, but I cannot find anything on what keys to push on boot-up for the BIOS to come up. When you do a boot, does the Laptop have a Bios splash screen? If it does, it should say something like F2 for setup or something to that toon. I am a button smasher if I can't get to the BIOS, I just start pushing buttons. Worst case, remove the hard drive and see what it does then.
