I was A+ certified in March, and I'm trying to figure out how to stay that way.

If I understand CompTIA's instructions, and what I've seen watching one of Professor Messer's study group videos, then the theory seems to be that I can renew my A+ certification by earning CE units, and I can earn those units by studying those videos.

If that's the case, what are the details for putting that theory into practice?

There was also something about paying CompTIA $25 a year, which I haven't quite deciphered yet, but I assume they'll send me a bill if they want my money.

This subject was chewed on, pureed - did you review the A+ conversations? It has good info some with links you follow to articles and screens on the comptia site - that was well recieved.

The fee is for enrolling CE database, It works like the MS certification certification transcripts... you can print out or show a prospective employer on line.
