I have a desktop computer and the monitor is broken is there a way that I could use my laptop to display the desktop in my laptop monitor????

I heard there is software that is available, but it cost 35 dollars which is kind of expensive since it is almost half the price of a low end LCD.

I guest you can try plugging in a USB TV tuner card with one of those yellow RCA or S-video video inputs into your laptop and if your computers videocard has RCA or S-video out and connect it to the TV tuner and use the TV tuner to stream video from your desktop, but the video quality probably be reallly bad because RCA and S-video has a max resolution of 480i which is the same as those old tube CRT TVs. _________________ A+ certified , Studying Network+ PC Help tips Blog | Windows Maintenance Tips | Ubuntu Linux Help | PC Electronics Blog |
