For those of you who are beginning their quest for the security+ but haven't decided on study material, this book has been highly recommended on the tech forums, Darril Gibson's Security + Get Certified Get Ahead.

I had preordered this book while finishing up on the Net+. Received it a few days ago and was able to run through the first chapter last night. Font size is incredibly friendly, concisely laid out, seems reader friendly. The tech forum bloggers (techexams.net) have basically said this is all you need, but i'll supplement as well just in case.

Wish there was some Security+ vid's from the Professor! lol.

I downloaded this book via Amazon Kindle and have read the intro and started Chapter 1. So far, I am pleased with how easy it is to digest what he's presenting. I'll share more as I go through it...but Net+ is on my radar first!
