In a lab contained in the Microsoft Academy IT Online Learning Program, I deviated from the lab's instructions (as I tend to do when I feel comfortable with the material). I happened to look at a 2008 Server desktop ... well, see it for yourself.

Hope you got as good a laugh as I did!

That is quite ammusing, but it only means that the Software hasn't been activated yet.
Microsoft likes to panic people with that message so that they will activate it.
