How much memory is in your computer?


You’re planning to install a new office suite application on a computer, but it requires a minimum of 1 gigabyte of system memory. What’s the best way to determine how much memory Windows XP sees in your computer?

A) In the Control Panel, select the System applet and find the memory amount in the General tab.

B) Examine the Event Log for memory utilization information during the Windows startup process.

C) Visit the computer manufacturer’s web site for the specifications.

D) Open the computer case and visually verify the amount of installed RAM.
