Introduction to Personal Computers
Professor Messer | Mar 26, 2008 | Comments 36

In this module, we’re going to talk about an introduction to personal computers. These module topics come directly from the CompTIA A+ exam objectives Section 1.1 which talks about using personal computers. We need to be able to understand what’s inside of our computer systems to be able to do maintenance and troubleshooting. This is going to be a good introduction that provides an overview of the outside of the personal computer. We’re going to open a system and I’m going to show you what’s on the inside of the system. Finally, we’re going to go through a short primer of how computer operations occur using all of these different components.
