Disk Cleanup can’t do everything. Or can it?

Which of these file categories are not handled by the Windows Disk Cleanup process? (pick two)

A) Temporary Internet files

B) Duplicate application documents

C) Debug dump files

D) Offline web pages

E) Those really old email messages from your ex-girlfriend who dumped you because of that inappropriate political conversation in front of her parents and everybody at the big party. Oops.

The answer: B) Duplicate application documents (and E)

Although Disk Cleanup is excellent at removing some of the temporary operating system files, it won’t touch any of your documents, spreadsheets, or any other application data file. If you want to clean duplicate files on your hard drive, you’ll need a third-party solution.
