Extending my parts

Which of these would be a characteristic of an extended partition?

A) The extended partition is a bootable partition

B) You can only have a maximum of one extended partition per disk

C) The extended partition cannot contain any logical partitions

D) You can have up to four extended partitions per disk

E) If they’d make those drives flatter, we’d be able to extend them easier.

The answer: B) You can only have a maximum of one extended partition per disk

The extended partition is used to get around some of the limitations of primary partitions. With an extended partition, you can build many logical partitions but you cannot boot from any of the logical partitions.
