The answer: C) ZIF

The Zero Insertion Force socket is commonly paired with a processor that uses the PGA package. The PGA processor has pins that a gently placed on a ZIF (the zero insertion force). A bar is used to lock the processor in place without using any undue pressure on the motherboard.
