Which of these interfaces would be most compatible with a digital video camera?
A) IEEE 1394
E) Is this VHS or Betamax?
The answer: A) IEEE 1394
IEEE 1394 is also known as FireWire and i.Link, and it’s a very high speed data connection that’s perfect for video devices. Although Ethernet connectivity also provides a high speed data connection, Ethernet ports aren’t commonly used with digital video cameras due to their configuration complexity relative to FireWire and their inherent hardware costs.
