What does a yellow exclamation mark mean when it appears in the Windows Device Manager?

A) The device is operating properly, but it requires a response to a query

B) The device has been scheduled for removal from Device Manager

C) Windows has detected a problem with the device

E) The device likes to end its sentences with a prominent interjection


The answer: C) Windows has detected a problem with the device

The Windows Device Manager will show a red X when a device has been disabled. When a device is not working properly, it adds a yellow exclamation mark to show which device is having a problem.
