Which of these technologies would be the best choice for authenticating wireless users to a RADIUS server?

A) TKIP

B) 802.1X

C) AES

D) 802.1Q

E) Can I bring a note from my mom?

The answer: B) 802.11X

IEEE 802.1X is the standard for Network Access Control at the port level. It’s common to see 802.1X configured in environments where every wired and wireless port must be protected. Users must authenticate with their login credentials before a network interface will be properly enabled for use. The 802.1X configuration prevents someone from connecting to an open port or connecting to a wireless network without first identifying themselves.
