There’s bits of my files all over the floor

What does the /f option of the CHKDSK command provide?

A) Fixes logical file system errors

B) Scans and reports on file system errors, but does not perform the fix

C) Locates and recovers data from bad drive sectors

D) Runs CHKDSK in offline mode

E) It literally slashes all of your files

The answer: A) Fixes logical file system errors

The /f option of CHKDSK will fix file system errors, but it will not scan the individual drive sectors. To enable the file sector sector scanning, you must also use the /r command option. If you use the /r option by itself, it will also include the /f option automatically.
