What is the minimum memory requirement for Windows XP?



You’ve been asked to install Windows XP on some older computers. How much RAM is required to install Windows XP Professional?

A) 64 MB

B) 128 MB

C) 256 MB

D) 512 MB


The answer: A) 64 MB

It’s almost surprising that Windows XP only requires 64 MB of memory to install, considering that the minimum Windows Vista installation requires 512 MB of RAM.
