Where can I get me some encryption?

Which Windows Vista version supports full-disk encryption?

A) Windows Vista Home

B) Windows Vista Home Premium

C) Windows Vista Business

D) Windows Vista Ultimate

E) Windows Vista Super Secret Edition

The answer: D) Windows Vista Ultimate

Windows full-disk encryption is called BitLocker, and it’s designed to protect portable systems and/or removable storage by encrypting everything on a drive. The only two Windows Vista versions that include BitLocker are Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows Vista Enterprise. For other versions of Vista (and other operating systems), a 3rd-party product like TrueCrypt must be used to encrypt an entire drive.
