Wherefore art thou video?

In a traditional Northbridge/Southbridge motherboard architecture, where would you expect to see the video adapter connected?

A) Northbridge

B) Southbridge

C) FSB

D) PCI Bus

E) To the back of the Xbox 360 #portal2coop

The answer: A) Northbridge

If it’s a part of the computer that needs a lot of bandwidth, then you can bet that it’s connected to (or near) the Northbridge. Lower bandwidth devices are often found near the Southbridge.
