Which command provides a 32-bit command prompt?

To use a command line utility, you should usually start with a Windows 32-bit command prompt. Which command launches the 32-bit command prompt window?

A) CMD

B) COMMAND

C) CMD32

D) COMMAND32

The answer: A) CMD

The CMD.EXE command launches a 32-bit command prompt, but the 16-bit COMMAND.COM is also included with Windows to maintain compatibility with older applications. There is neither a CMD32 nor a COMMAND32 application.
