Which password do you need?

You would like to add a password that would prevent a PC from booting unless the correct password was entered. What kind of password is this?

A) User Password

B) Administrator Password

C) Domain Administrator Password

D) Supervisor Password

E) Super-secret Double Probation Password

The answer: A) User Password

The user password is a BIOS password that prevents the computer from booting from any source until the correct password is entered. This is different than the supervisor password, which is used to prevent changes to the BIOS configuration. The Administrator password and Domain Administrator passwords are part of the Windows operating system, and aren’t applicable prior to the booting of the operating system.
