After installing any Windows operating system, it’s useful to keep the original installation media nearby. Which of the following would NOT be a good use of the original Windows 2000 or Windows XP installation CD-ROM?

A) Installing printer drivers

B) Adding new Windows operating system components

C) Running memory diagnostics

D) Re-installing video drivers

Doesnt the Vista DVD offer memory diagnostics? Im pretty sure it does

    • The Windows Vista installation media does include some nice hardware diagnostics, but Windows Vista is currently out of scope for the existing 220-60x certification exams. I’ve updated the question and answer to include the difference. Thanks for the comment!
