Great video first off.
I have a wireless router here at home that i’ve set up and have my computer in my bedroom at the other end of my house. The connection works fine but i’d be interested in the signal loss through the house. In a straight line to the access point there are several walls, a fridge, microwave and hot water cylinder. Is there any free software I can download that will give me some statistics of the signal?
I also do a bit of online gaming (who doesn’t) and would be interested in the latency effect of sending the signal from one end of the house to the other vs a computer directly connected to my router.
Which data encryption is better or more secure TKIP or AES?
TKIP has some known security shortcomings in certain situations, primarily relating to man-in-the-middle attacks. AES is the most secure encryption method at this point.
